Welcome to our website

We are located at 47 spring street in stoneham, massachusetts with ample parking available.   We are centrally located and are less than fifteen minutes outside of Boston and within five minutes to 93 and 128.  We deliver daily to Boston and forty-two surrounding towns.

What makes us unique

The housing of three small shops, each known for specific designs, in one location enables us to provide you with a wide array of designs and gifts – what better way to satisfy our customers than by giving them choices.  We have young designers and designers with up to thirty-five years experience.

How this came about

In December of 2004, gay’s flower shop and blossom shop merged – thus gay’s flowers & blossom shop and its sister company, box on beacon hill, moved its center of operations under the same roof. 

gay’s flower shop, established in 1911, was known for its traditional designs, flowers, and indoor/outdoor plants.

blossom shop from Main Street in Stoneham was known for its traditional and contemporary designs, plants in unique containers, and gifts.

box on beacon hill from Charles Street in Boston was known for its avant-garde designs, gifts, unusual plant designs, designer window boxes, and small gardens.  We have been fortunate to be a floral designer for the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston Public Library, Gardner Museum and the Boston Design Center as well as numerous homes and events.

This website features a few arrangements that you are able to purchase on line.  However, our designs are endless and we will be more than happy to assist you in choosing the right floral arrangement, plant, gourmet gift, or decorative accent.  Contact us at 781-438-0217

Changes or Substitutions

Please keep in mind that the price and availability of flowers change daily.  If there is a discrepancy in a price of a design you ordered, you will be contacted for approval prior to us processing your order. We reserve the right to alter the selection of flowers should the arrangement you ordered contain flowers that are unavailable or not be of good quality.  Please be advised that these substitutions are only made when absolutely necessary.

Delivery

A charge of $8.00 to $15.00 will be added for delivery floral arrangements depending on the destination. Delivery orders must be received prior to 4:00 p.m. EST to be delivered the following day.   If you wish same day delivery, please contact us via telephone.

Monday through Friday:  9:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m.

Saturday:  9:00 a.m. through 4:00 p.m.
